Rock the Books 2017

INSO Inc. (Inside Out) a subsidiary of Dawson Community Empowerment Center invites you to partner with us to enrich the lives of youth in our community. INSO Inc. is a non-profit organization whose mission is to educate, empower, engage and encourage our youth from the inside out. We want to help children develop a positive self-image, self- wellness and overall self- worth. We are advocates for educating in all aspects of life to develop productive citizens for our society. The vision of INSO is to help our young people see that they are the future and that there is hope regardless of the vicious cycles of poverty and the associated effects of crime, drug addiction and gang violence that can have a negative effect on our youth and consequently our community. Our goals are to positively impact our community by investing in our youth.

INSO will have our first annual Rock the Books event on Saturday, July 29th, 2017 from 11am-4:30pm! This will be a fun filled event promoting reading literacy and encouraging our students to do their best for the upcoming school year. Students will receive free school supplies and can enjoy music, food and games. Your sponsorship for the Back to School festival is needed. Our goal is to give away school supplies to over 1000 K-12 students in the Camden county area. This is a community event, and we are excited to get everyone involved. Like the cliché says, it takes a village to raise a child so let’s be that village!
